Description

Work consists of maintenance dredging of Marcus Hook, Deepwater Point, and New Castle Ranges of the Delaware River channel from stations 117+000 to 208+000. Dredging will be performed to a depth 45 plus 1 allowable over depth limited by a vertical plane through the required depth contour. Dredging will be required to a distance of 25 outside the channel limits. The Government-furnished disposal areas available for use under this contract are Pedricktown North and Killcohook Areas #1 and #2. Not ice to proceed will be issued between 19 July and 31 August 2006. All work to be completed not later than 31 December 2006. Solicitation documents, plans and specifications will only be available via the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) homepage located a t https://www.fedteds.gov/. Registration for plans and specifications should be made via FedTeDS Internet homep age and hard copies will not be available. No written or fax requests will be accepted. All prospective contractors and their subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in FedTeDS before they will be allowed to download solicitation documents/ information. FedTeDS registration requires the following information: CCR Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN), DUNS Number or CAGE Code, Telephone Number, E-mail Address. Registration instructions can be found on the FedTeDS website: h ttps://fedteds.gov/ by clicking on Register With FedTeDS hyperlink. The Solicitation documents, Plans and Specifications will be available to be downloaded on or about 2 May 2006 with a bid opening date on or about 1 June 2006 at 11:00 am. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS Code is 234990 with a size standard o f $18.5 Million. The estimated cost range of the project is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 and bonding is required. Affirmative action to insure equal employment opportunity is applicable to the resulting contract. Liquidated damages will be specified. Aw ard will be made as a whole to one bidder. All contractors must be registered in the DoD's Central Contract Register before award as required by DFARS 204.7300. Instructions will be included in the Solicitation.
