This requirement is for sole source procurement with the Hawaii Biodiversity and Mapping Program, 677 Ala Moana Blvd. Suite 705, Honolulu, Hawaii. The Hawaii Biodiversity and Mapping Program is uniquely qualified to produce 5-year status reviews for 34 federally listed Hawaiian plant taxa because they maintain the most up-to-date state-wide database of information on rare Hawaiian plants. In addition, their staff includes expert field botanists who have personally located populations of the 34 plant taxa. This synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No solicitation document is available. No purchase order will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available.
