Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a delivery order to the AAR-47(V)2 Missile Warning System BOA with Alliant Tech Systems, Clearwater, Florida on a sole source basis for the following effort: Operational Flight Program Block Change. This effort will consist of developing, incorporating, and validating enhancements to the currently fielded version V22.30. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Alliant Tech Systems in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 because Alliant Tech Systems is the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the AAR-47(V)2 design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner.
