Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Code 8242 intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Versalogic Corporation for a quantity of 25 each VL-EBX-12B, Embedded Processor Boards with 1.6GHZ CPU, Fan, 2X10/100 Ethernet. The minimum requirements are Processor: Designed using a P4 Chip running at least 1.0GHz. Card Form Factor: EBX Standard. Expansion Bus: PC-104 and PC-104 Plus. System Memory: at least 1.0 GB SODIMM. IDE Interface: Onboard. Serial Ports: 2 ports with RS232 and RS422/485. Watchdog Timer: Onboard accessible through port I/O. USB: 2 ports. Solid State Disk: 50-pin socket for 1 GB Compact Flash Card. Video: 1024 X 768 interface onboard. Ethernet: Dual PCI 10/100Mbps Ethernets with Realtek RTL8139D or Intel 82552ER. Power Requirements: +5VDC @ less than 25W. Operating Temperature: 0 Degrees to 60 Degrees C. Operating System: Runs with the Windows XP embedded. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-06-Q-2967. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2000-07. This is 100% set-aside for small business. Size standard is 334111. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: CLIN 0001 is for a quantity of 25 each VL-EBX-12B, Embedded Processor Boards with 1.6GHZ CPU, Fan, 2X10/100 Ethernet. It is expected to place a purchase order with Versalogic Corporation. They are the only known source for these items because these cards are required for the existing Data Recording System design that was developed for the Cluster Nova Program. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation--Commercial Items. Evaluation factors are technical capability, price and past performance. Each is equally important.
