Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm fixed price supply type contract to be negotiated on sole source basis with Chromalox, La Vergne, TN for Chromalox Duct Heater and associated hardware custom designed for use in submarine tanks assemblies. Delivery date shall be 42 days after date of contract. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 12 April 2006 for approximately 5 days. Proposed contract to be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13.5. To be negotiated on a sole source basis with Chromalox per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS.Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
