- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required item under N00181-06-Q-0223. A separate solicitation document will not be issued. FISC-NNSY Maritime Industrial Branch, Contracting Department intends to contract with Maytag Corporation, on a sole source basis, for the following item(s): 1) Washer/Dryer stacked combination unit, Maytag Commercial Neptune Model #MLE19PN, Qty: 27 each; 2) Installation/repair kit consisting of service manual, parts manual and special tool kit for repairing the washer/dryer unit in the field; Qty: 4 each.
