Description

YOU ARE INVITED TO ATTEND AN INDUSTRY CONFERENCE BEING HELD ON MAY 3, 2006 TO POTENTIAL SOURCES: The General Services Administration is seeking an expression of interest in the contemplation of an acquisition for A Firm Fixed Price - Operations, Mechanical Maintenance and Repair contract for the new San Francisco Federal Building, San Francisco, CA. The contract is scheduled to commence approximately 60 days prior to the occupancy month of November 2006. The anticipated term of the contract will be for a base period of one (1) year and four (4) one (1) year option periods. Special considerations: This building is significantly more complex than the average office building and contains systems which may be unique in North America. Therefore, the contractor selected will have a strong focus on the engineering and analytical capabilities of the their firm and proposed employees, especially in the building automation and HVAC areas. The purpose of the Conference is to: 1. Develop and/or identify interested sources. 2. Request preliminary information based on the general description of the services involved. 3. Explain the requirements to all interested parties. 4. Aid prospective contractors in later submitting proposals without undue expenditure of effort, time, and money. SMALL ENGINEERING, OPERATIONAL AND MECHANICAL BUSINESSES ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND.
