Description
Description: See numbered notes: 1, 9, and 26. NSN 2530-00-741-2065 ? Wheel Cylinder Assembly, Hydraulic Brake, exceptions to drawing 7412065 Rev J: Links 2 each 9rods) may be packaged separately in bag with bleeder screw 7373260, package part in carton with each cylinder assembly. Parts are being bought in accordance with Army (19207) drawing 7412065 and all related data. There is a requirement for a First Article Test. The total quantity required is 23,279 each with 5,916 each going to (W62G2T) Stockton, CA 95296-0130 and 17,363 each going to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. FOB destination is requested. Award may be split between the two best value offers. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 04/28/06, hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Technical drawings/bid sets are available after the above issue date from DSCC-VTCD at the above web cite. Requests should include the RFP number, opening/closing date, NSN, purchase Request Number (e.g. YPC/YPE), buyer?s name and your complete name and address. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. This solicitation is set-aside for small business concerns. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and delivery. The required delivery is for 5000 each to be delivered in 250 days plus 5000 each every 30 days thereafter until complete with FAT required and 5000 each in 130 days and 5000 each every 30 days thereafter until complete with FAT waived. Notice to all Contractors: In a final rule contained in the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26 (Item 1, FAR Case 2002-24) published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2004, the Federal Acquisition Regulation was amended to require offerors to submit representations and certification electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors are encouraged to complete an Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement will be appearing in solicitation in the near future. The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Until ORCA is fully implemented continue to comply with all government instruction and requirements in solicitation and contract awards.
