Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP) 0036332. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-08. This solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 511210. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order, on a sole source basis, to Stellent Chicago Sales, 300 N. Wabash, 15th Floor, Chicago, IL 60611 for the purchase of maintenance on outside in Viewer Technology for WINTEL and MAC. The estimated amount for this procurement is $61,200. A standard commercial warranty or better is requested. FOB ? Destination to Quantico, Virginia 22135. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition: Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Oct 2003); Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Jan 2005); Provision 52.215-5 Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997). All responsible sources may submit a quotation for this announcement clearly identifying how they can fulfill this requirement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting a quotation to include product/functional specifications/descriptions. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all data received within ten days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Quotations will be opened at an off-site facility for security/safety reasons and will be resealed and forwarded to the appropriate person. As a result of this, delays will occur in the receipt of your proposal. It is highly recommended to fax your quotation in addition to mailing. The Department of Justice will no longer permit the use of non-US citizens in the performance of this contract or commitment for any position that involves access to or development of any FBI IT system. By signing the contract or commitment document, the contractor agrees to this restriction with respect to all new employees utilized directly to perform duties on this contract. Non-US citizens currently employed under this contract or commitment may continue performance unless otherwise directed by the Department of Justice. No new, replacement, or additional non-US citizens may be added to the contract without the express approval of the Department of Justice. The Department of Justice may require contractor employees performing work under this contract to undergo a polygraph examination. The Procurement Blanket Clearance is 1103-0018, expiration 7/31/07.
