Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Carl T. Hayden VAMC, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), intends to negotiate a commercial item, firm fixed-price contract with McKesson Automation Systems, Inc. The procurement shall be for the Release 6 Upgrade for McKesson AcuDose, Robot-Rx hardware and Connect-Rx software that run these products. Release 6 Upgrade includes: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 license and Client Access Licenses (CALs); Microsoft SQL Server 2000 license and CALs; PCAnywhere licenses; 1 Dell PowerEdge 2800 Xeon server replacement; 2 Dell Optiplex GX270 Support Station replacement PCs; 8 AcuDose-Rx Replacement PCs; On-site implementation of new software by McKesson Automation support personnel and their travel and living expanses and off-site support and administrative fees; 2 days on-site robot training for Release 6. NAICS 541512 applies. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Interested parties that believe they can meet this requirement must supply information about their capabilities to the Contracting Officer no later than 2:00 p.m. (Local Time), April 24, 2006. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. TELEPHONE INQUIRES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
