Description

The 5th Contracting Squadron requires the repair of the bowling alley parking lot at Minot AFB, ND. The work is 80% general, 20% electrical. The magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance period is 120 days. Liquidated damages will be assesed for late performance. A 1 year warranty of construction will apply. Project solicitation, specifications, and drawings will be made available on or about 1 May 2006. The complete package will be made available only through the Internet GPE: <http://www.fbo.gov>. Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from the internet GPE. Copies will not be mailed from the contracting office. All amendments will be posted on the internet GPE. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from the internet GPE to update their own files. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237310. The small business size standard is $31,000,000.00 in average annual receipts for the past 3 years. This project will be solicited with full and open competition for both large and small businesses with the intent to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract, based upon Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) criteria.
