- FLEX WING ROTARY CUTTER (lawnmower attachment), One each (1) This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSITITUTES THE ONLY SOLICATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. (2) Solicitation FA5000-06-T-0047 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (3) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-07. (4) The solicitation is NOT set aside for Small Business. The NAICS Code is 333112; size standard is 500 employees. (5) DESCRIPTION: 1 each John Deere Model CX20 flex wing rotary cutter or equal. Salient characteristics: fully compatible with John Deere tractor hitching and driveline connections; 1000 RPM power take off (PTO) with constant velocity drivelines, CAT 5; ?Fatboy? tires (27.5 x 8.75 x 14.5) for better flotation and smoother ride; dual wing wheel spindles (hub), air spring suspension for rough terrain; front and rear (10,000 lb chain) double row safety chain; independent hydraulic lift cylinders for each wing; 3 function independent control valve; 1000 RPM bar-type blade holders with dual suction blade design; 3 year gear case warranty; all spare and replacement parts fully compatible with John Deere flexwing mowers. (6) Specifications are listed in item 5. (7) DELIVERY: FOB Elmendorf AFB, Alaska; requested delivery by 30 May 2006. Delivery to be coordinated with SSgt Ryan McIntosh at 907-552-3088. (8) FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors, applies to this solicitation. (9) This solicitation incorporates FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items. Award will be based upon lowest price/technically acceptable offer. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote received without discussion. (10) Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52-212-3, Offeror Representations Certification, which can be completed at https://orca.bpn.gov . (11) FAR 52-212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. (12) FAR 52.212-5 DEV, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
