- Description
- The United States Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, has a requirement for ten each MD500 Inlet Barrier Filters, P/N: 102200-101; up to ten each Maintenance Indicator Assemblies, P/N: 102380-101; and up to ten each Pressure Switches, P/N: 101260-201. The contract will procure a quantity of seven of each part number, with an option to procure a quantity of three of each part number by 30 September 2006. The Government anticipates awarding a contract on or before 31 May 2006. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for these items to Aerospace Filtration Systems, Inc. (AFSI), St. Louis Engineering Center, 4 Research Park Drive, St. Charles, MO 63304-5685. AFSI is the only known source for the requested parts. ASSI possesses the proprietary technical drawings and the tooling required to achieve production on schedule. Delivery is requested to begin nine months after receipt of contract at the rate of three per month. The DPAS rating is DOA1. Note 22 applies. Inspection/acceptance is at orgin by Government QAR. Parts shall be delivered FOB Origin to L3, 5749 Briar Hill Road, Lexington, KY 40512, and marked for Future Force Aircraft and Crash Damaged Aircraft.
