Description
NSN 2090-01-434-6517. Item is on a source controlled drawing. Approved sources are Cornell Carr Co. (21204) P/N CC-1522-0110, and BAE Systems (81100) P/N KS-24726-001. A TOTAL OF 42 ON ARE TO BE DELIVERED FOB DESTINATION, AS FOLLOWS: 10 EACH TO DEF DIST DEPOT SAN JOAQUIN CA 95304-5000, 32 EA TO DDSP NEW CUMBERLAND PA 17070-5001, WITH A REQUIRED DELIVERY OF 120 DAYS. INSPECTION IS AT DESTINATION. A 50% OPTION IS AVAILABLE WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT BE EXERCISED. PROPOSED SOLICITATION IS UNRESTRICTED. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data, therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See Numbered Note(s):26. The solicitation will be available on it?s issue date of 1 MAY 2006 at HTTPS://WWW.DIBBS.BSM.DLA.MIL/. "Notice to All Contractors: In a final rule contained in the Federal Acquisition Circular 01- 26 (Item I, FAR Case 2002-24) published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2004, the Federal Acquisition Regulation was amended to require offerors to submit representations and certifications electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors are encouraged to complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement will be appearing in solicitations in the near future. The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Until ORCA is fully implemented continue to comply with all government instructions and requirements in solicitations and contract awards."
