Description

The 377 CONS/LGCA intends to award a one (1) year contract with two (2) Option years contract for Prisoner Storage/Inmate Confinement. This is a REQUIREMENTS CONTRACT/TASK ORDER CONTRACT in accordance with FAR 16.503. "Task Order Contract" means a contract for services that does not procure or specify a firm quantity of services (other than a minimum or maximum quantity; in this case, hours or inmates) and that provices for the issuance of orders, for the performance of tasks during the period of the contract. The estimated minimum and maximum quantity is not a representation to an offeror or contractor that the estimated quantity will be required or ordered, or that conditions affecting requirements will be stable or normal. The contractor shall provide custody of USAF individuals in the contractor's facility in accordance with (IAW) the attached Statement of Work (SOW), the Solicitation Notice, and the Amendment to the Solicitation Notice. This is an Unrestricted/NO-SET-ASIDE Contract. An Ombudsman has been appointed for this acquistion. Communication regarding this acquisition should be directed first to the Contracting Specialist (Lucille Gadberry) or the Contracting Officer (Jim Cochran) to request information, etc., before contacting the Ombudsman.
