Destination: Tinker Air Force Base, OK 73145-3020 The approximate issue date for RFP is 30 Nov 2005 and response date is 30 Dec 2005. The anticipated award date of this contract will be 16 Jan 2006. Contractors shall refer to the actual solicitation for the exact closing date. PR Number: FD20300624011 Item 0001, NSN: 1560-01-502-4597EK P/N L2100204-021, TIP ASSEMBLY, ACFT Application: B1-B. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation through FedBizOpps at http://www.fbo.gov/. NOTE: SURPLUS IS ACCEPTABLE. EXPORT CONTROL. The drawings, which will be furnished under this RFP and any resultant contract involves data that are subject to export control laws and regulations. Only contractors who are registered and certified with the Defense Logistics Services Center (DLSC) shall be provided the data subject to foreign disclosure restrictions. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel.
