PR Number(s): FD20300635445 Item: 0001 NSN: 6615012149926 CONTROLLER,FLIGHT,A P/N: 3822329-1, Description: The control panel is an essential component of the E-3 PB20 automatic flight control system (AFCS). The control panel is composed of the controller, mode selector, autopilot and altitude engage switches sub-assemblies. The control panel allows the crew to engage and disengage the PB20 AFCS and altitude hold switch input roll and pitch commands and select the altitude, heading, navigation, and approach modes. Total Line Item Qty: 2.0000 EA Applicable to: E-3A Destn: FB2039,Tinker AFB,OK.,73145-9013. Delivery: 31MAR2007, 2.00 EA Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Caution: The drawings which will be furnished under this RFP and any resultant contract are proprietary to the Boeing Company.Firms interested in proposing on this RFP must have on file a current OC-SAF/66, "Rights Guard Certificate", signed by an individual authorized to bind your company, or the bid package will not be furnished. This certificate may be obtained from OCALC/PKXDA, Tinker AFB OK 73145-5320. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 736-3273. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. See Note(s) 22, 23 and 26.
