Description
(i) This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect though Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-08. (iv) This acquisition is set-aside for small business NAICS code size standard 500 employees. (v) The company who provides the best value to the government will be awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). (vi) 1. QUALIFICATIONS 1.1 Ability to administer both the documentation of services performed and the timely rendering of payment for subcontractor services (if used) is required. The government is not responsible for paying any subcontractors that may be used. 1.2 Award of this agreement is contingent on contractors continued compliance with all applicable laws and regulations-international, federal, state, local and any other laws that may apply. 2. DUTIES 2.1 The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide drill steel and blasting supplies for ALCOM in conjunction with the Alaska Road Project. 2.2 The contractor shall provide services within the time period specified at the time the call is placed. 3. CONDITIONS 3.1 Contractor must be CCR and ORCA registered. For more information call the Procurement Technical Assistance Center of Alaska at 907-274-7232. 4. PRICING 4.1 Prices to the Government shall be as low as, or lower than those charged to the Contractor?s most favored customer, in addition to any discounts and prompt payment. 4.2 A price list must be submitted for the following items to be approved by the Contracting Officer for use on the BPA. The price list shall state the period for which the price list is effective. The minimum period a price list may be in effect is one month, preferable one year.
