Description
This publication serves as a pre-solicitation notice and sources sought synopsis for an Operations and Maintenance Contractor for the 18th MEDCOM, U.S. Army, Integrated Health Organization, Seoul, Korea. Solicitation W91QVN-06-R-0003** will be released on or about 8 May 2006 consisting of a Base Year plus 4 (four) Option Years, Non-Commercial requirement with a four-day site visit and pre-proposal conference on or about 15-19 May 2006. 18th Medical Command (MEDCOM) Integrated Health Organization is seeking a competent Operations & Maintenance Contractor experienced in healthcare facilities to provide management, labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, incidental engineering, and transportation necessary for the operations, maintenance, repair, and modification of buildings, structures, systems, and associated equipment for the medical facilities. The contractor shall perform preventive maintenance(PM), predictive testing and inspections (PT and I), programmed maintenance (PgM), work request, minor new work, and utility plant operations. The contractor shall develop work plans, and perform repair a nd project work. The contractor shall manage the total work effort associated with the work to be performed, and other services required to assure fully adequate and timely completion of these services. Included in these functions, they are a full range of management duties including but not limited to planning, scheduling, accounting, report preparation, establishing and maintaining records, drawing management, analysis and quality control. The 18th MEDCOM IHO contains approximately 509,000 square feet o f healthcare facilities, ten (10) troop medical clinics, ten (10) dental clinics, four (4) veterinary clinics, and various ancillary facilities located throughout the Korean peninsula.
