- Architect-Engineer Services: Indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for the Mississippi Air National Guard Base located at 141 Military Drive, Jackson, Mississippi. Scope of Services: Architect and engineering services are required to provide Type A Services (soil boring, site development, cost analysis, alternative designs), type B services (actual project in accordance with all applicable codes and regulations) , and type C services (construction inspection) for maintenance and repair projects, alterations and additions to existing facilities. These projects will require multidiscipline-engineering services in investigative, design, and inspection. List of pr oposed projects as follows: Infrastructure Upgrade, Alter TALCE Facility, and Alter Aerial Evacuation Facility. The services required for each project will be negotiated under a separate delivery order. Evaluation factors: 1. Professional qualification s of the disciplines (not intended to be inclusive): Architect, Civil Engineer, and Energy Management Specialist. 2. Specialized experience and technical competence. 3. Capacity to complete work on time. 4. Past performance. 5. Location in general geographical area of the project. 6. Volume of DOD work in the past 12 months. Any resultant contract will be for a period of one year with an option for up to four additional years of service. The maximum individual task orders may be of any value wi thin the contract maximum ceiling value (base year and up to 4 option years) of $10 million. A/E firms located outside the commuting distance (90 miles) of Jackson, Mississippi that wish to be considered must be willing to establish a temporary branch off ice within the commuting distance. The government will not pay for out of town travel. A single contract is to be awarded from this solicitation. Firms desiring consideration shall submit Standard Form 330 to Lieutenant Colonel Wayne Bryant, 172nd Civil Engineer Squadron/DE, 141 Military Drive, #27, Jackson, Mississippi 39232-8875 to be received no later than 15 May 2006. Include the number and dollar value of the A/E contracts awarded by the Air National Guard and DOD agencies (include the previous yea r if less than 6 months). Also include copies of any government evaluation reports showing performance on past work if available. The NAICS is 541330 Engineering Services ($4.0 Million) and the Standard Industrial Classification if 8711. This announce ment is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. Should a large business be selected for this contract, it shall comply with FAR 52.219-9 Small Business and Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting Plan , for that portion of work it intends to subcon tract. This plan is not required with this submittal, but must be approved prior to an award to any large business. All firms must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to any award resulting from this announcement . This is not a Request for Proposal.
