- The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is planning to solicit proposals from potential contractors for gaseous pollutant monitoring network support. This solicitation will be issued electronically, on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) web site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and at the Government-wide Point of Entry at http://www.fbo.gov/. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. Proposal documents will be available in Microsoft Word, HTML, and/or Adobe PDF formats. Offerors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification. " Proposed Issue Date: May 12, 2006 " Title of Project: Gaseous Pollutant Monitoring Network Support " Approximate Proposal Receipt Date: June 15, 2006 " Description: The National Park Service (NPS), Natural Resources Program Center (NRPC-Denver) Air Resources Division proposes to award a contract that will provide NPS with uninterrupted and reliable operation and enhancement of its gaseous pollutant and meteorological monitoring network. The primary objectives of the contract are to provide NPS with (1) Field Operations Support, (2) Information Management and Reporting, and (3) Special Monitoring Support. The successful offeror will work through the National Park Service on all contractual related matters. " Type of Procurement: An indefinite quantity indefinite delivery negotiated fixed price contract is anticipated for award requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The government will consider an offeror's technical capability in comparison to its price. The contract award will be for one base year, with four one-year options to extend up to a total of five (5) years. " Estimated price range, $7-8.5 million (total for 5 years) " Pre-Proposal Meeting: Thursday, May 18, 2006 (tentative); 10:00 MST, Academy Place, Rm 435, 7333 W. Jefferson, Lakewood, CO 80235 " Proposal receipt date is approximate; actual date will be established at the time proposal documents are available.
