Description

The Navy?s Strategic Systems Programs Office (SSP) intends to solicit and award a non-competitive, Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract to Science Applications International Corporation in order to provide technical and engineering support for the TRIDENT MMF application for system upgrades and for modification, and enhancements to the MMF application. The contractor will assist with logical and physical database development, application redesign, system installation and testing to insure more efficient and cost-effective TRIDENT maintenance forecasting. The contractor will also provide assistance as necessary to insure the continued daily operation of MMF and to resolve operational problems that may arise with MMF at the TRIDENT Refit Facility, Kings Bay, GA; the Naval Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Pacific Northwest, Bangor, WA; the Submarine Maintenance Engineering, Planning & Procurement at Portsmouth NH; and the Naval Inventory Control Point, Mechanicsburg, PA. The Period of Performance will be twelve (12) months from contract award and include two option periods. The base period will be from 15 September 2006 through 14 September 2007. The first option period will be from 15 September 2007 through 14 September 2008. The second option period will be from 15 September 2008 through 30 September 2008. The Request for Quotation (N00030-06-Q-0004), will be issued as a sole source procurement. See Note 22.
