Description

DESC: SIC Code 1796 - The General Services Administration is soliciting proposals for Elevator Modernization for the Federal Building/Post Office/Courthouse Building in Batesville, AR, Solicitation GS-07P-06-UT-C-0022, Project Number RAR03016. The point of contact is Sylvia Chinworth, Contracting Officer, 7PMO, 817-978-8496. The project is to consist of modernizing one (1) existing hydraulic passenger elevator. The contractor must provide new solid state microprocessor controls, jack, pump, and cabs. All work performed under this contract shall meet or exceed the current ASME-A17.1, Elevator Code and the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards. The estimated cost is $200,000.00. The solicitation issue date will be on or about May 1, 2006. The proposal due date will be on or about May 31, 2006. A pre-proposal conference will be held on or about May 17, 2006. We consider attendance at this conference vital to the preparation of a competitive and cost effective proposal and to understanding the total result desired by the Government. Failure to attend this meeting may not be used as an excuse for omissions and miscalculations in offers. Specifications will be available for downloading from the Internet at www.fedbizopps.gov.
