Description: The USDA Forest Service, Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, is advertising fro the above project located east of Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Work includes roadside brushing, culvert removal and replacement, borrow and backfill placement, gravel placement, erosion control devices, seeding and riprap. The work is expected for begin in June and be completed by October 31, 2006. The estimated price ranger is between $125,000 and $175,000. A bid bond, performance bond, and payment protection is required. The solicitation will be a request for proposal resulting in a best value award. ORCA certification is required.
