Description

The United States Coast Guard Maintenance & Logistics Command Pacific in Oakland, California, proposes to contract for the Drydock and Repair of USCGC MELLON (WHEC 717), a 378-foot high endurance cutter, home moorage of Seattle, Washington. Work will be accomplished at the contractor?s facility, which must be certified in accordance with MLCPAC Standard Specification 997, during the period of 30 August through 25 October 2006. On or before 29 May 2006, a Total Small Business Set-aside Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Only certified small business contractors meeting the requirements of FAR 52.219-14 may submit a proposal. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 336611 with a size standard of less than 1,000 employees.
