- Description
- This is a pre-soliciation notice. This requirement is to provide Linen Rental/Delivery Service at Scott AFB IL for the following facilities: Scott Club (Bldg 1560), Pronto Pizza (Bldg 1930, Cardinal Creek Golf Course (Bldg 1192) and Stars and Strikes Bowling Center (Bldg 1934). The service will entail pick up and delivery to and from the sites listed above. Services shall be performed in accordance with all Federal, State, local and commercial standards. This acquisition will be accomplished using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13.5. The acquisition will be Past Performance/Price Tradeoff. The Government will evaluate offers based on past performance and price, with past performance being significantly more important than price. A solicitation will be posted on or around 27 April 2005. The solicitation will be for the base year plus three option years. The solicitation number will be FA4407-06-R-0008. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses will be those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2005-07, Effective 02 Feb 2006. This requirement will be solicited as Unrestricted. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 812331. This procurement will be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price. This requirement will be for a one-year base period and three one-year option periods. THE GOVERNMENT WILL ISSUE THIS SOLICITATION THROUGH THE INTERNET. Procurement documents will NOT be directly provided in a paper hard copy format nor CDs. Notification of any changes to this solicitation will be made ONLY on the Internet site. It is, therefore, the contractor's responsibility to check the below listed Internet site daily for any posted changes in this solicitation's documents which will be available on or about 27 April 2006. Download from the Internet is free of charge; however, the solicitation documents may take time to download. The address for downloading this solicitation from the Internet is http://www.eps.gov. Offers shall be submitted via paper copy. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. When the solicitation is posted, it is imperative interested parties review this site frequently for any updates/amendments. The solicitation package will include the Statement of Work (SOW), Wage Determination Rev 33 dated 10/28/05 and SF 1449 Solicitation /Contract/Order for Commercial Items.
