Description

100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237990 with a size standard of $18.5 million. The term size standard describes the numerical definition of a small business. A busi ness, including its affiliates, which has been in business for three or more complete fiscal years with annual average gross revenue of $18.5 million or below meets the size standard and is considered a Small Business. Additionally, the firm must perform at least 40% of the volume of dredging with its own equipment or equipment owned by another small dredging concern. Contractor must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and must complete electronic Representations and Certificatio ns (Reps & Certs) prior to award of this solicitation. Lack of registration in the CCR database or failure to file electronic Reps and Certs will make an offeror ineligible for award. The work consists of maintenance dredging of approximately 45,000 cubi c yards (CY) of unclassified material from TC Dock on the Cooper River, Charleston County, SC. Material shall be deposited in designated disposal area at Clouter Creek, North Cell. The work includes providing a disposal area report and complying with the requirements of the Endangered Species Act and the Marine Mammals Protection Act. The contractor will commence work within 14 days of Notice to Proceed (NTP). The estimated value of the proposed work is between $250,000 and $500,000.
