The solicitaion will be availabel at http:ideasec.nbc.gov on or about May 2, 2006. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUEST OR FAX REQUEST FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NO BE ACCEPTED. Description: 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. The National Park Service is soliciting quotations for the purpose of acquiring approximately 2,115 tons of #57 stone and 705 tons of ABC stone. The stone is to be tailgate spread on gravel roads in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Cataloochee Area, Haywood County, NC. There are approximately 12 miles of road that the stone is to be spread on. Contractor is to furnish all materials, equipment and labor necessary to complete the job. Work is to be completed not later than 30 days after the Notice To Proceed is issued. Work will be allowed Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m to 5:00 pm daily. The NAICS code for this project is 212312 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This procurement is a Request For Quotations and the price range is $25,000 to $100,000 and is subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations. In addition, this procurement is offered as a 100% Set-Aside for Small Business, and the National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and woman-owned business enterprises. Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of the solicitation. Search by referencing the solicitation number (above), Department of the Interior, National Park Service.
