Description

Presolicitation Notice N62306-06-Q-7020 This presolicitation notice for commercial items is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12.6. Soliciation N62306-06-Q-7020 is issued as a Request for Quotation. This is a full and open procurement under NAICS 334511 Instrument Manufacturing. The requirement is in accordance with the government?s Salient Characteristics for Underwater Ocean Glider System that establishes the requirements for an underwater ocean glider system consisting of an ocean glider vehicle, engineering support system and command and control (C2) system. The resulting contract will be a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract. All responsible sources may submit a quotation and all quotations received by the closing date specified herein shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation is expected to post on the NECO web site (http://www.neco.navy.mil/index.cfm) on or about 25 April 2006. To be considered, the quotation must meet the agency?s requirements as specified in the Salient Characteristics and must be accompanied with any additional information as requested.
