Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) anticipates issuing a solicitation for a new requirement for its Froth Worth, TX facility. The purpose of this notice is two-fold: (1) to identify potential sources capable of Researching, Designing, Developing, Fabricating, delivering, and installing an Automatic (Robotic) Equipment for stacking and labeling process in the COPE Section, and (2) to provide interested parties the opportunity to review a draft Statement of Work, which can be downloaded from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at www.fbo.gov.This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. Solicitations are not available at this time, and as such any request for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. At this point, the BEP does not intend to set up a contract for this equipment, but would like to receive comments on the draft SOW, including review of Labor, Time and Materials estimates, and a developed R&D hypothesis submissions capable of Automating equipment for stacking and labeling process in the COPE Section. Also, literature and pricing should be provided as part of a market research submission to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
