Description
UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS SOURCES FOR LEASED OFFICE AND RELATED SPACE RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA The United States Government is seeking to lease office and related space consisting of approximately 29,935 square feet of rentable space in Raleigh, North Carolina. The space requirement can be satisfied with space in an existing building or through new construction. Rentable space must yield 26,030 ANSI/ BOMA usable square feet, available for use by the Government for personnel, furnishings and equipment. The proposed lease is for 10 years, 5 years firm, and should be fully serviced. The space should be ready for occupancy no later than October 3, 2007. Offered properties must be within the area delineated as follows: From the intersection of Millbrook Road and Six Forks Rd., along Millbrook Road to the intersection of Millbrook and Atlantic Ave., south along Atlantic continuing as it merges into Wake Forest Road, to the intersection with Person St., south along Person to Lenoir St., west along Lenoir to S. Dawson St., north along Dawson to W. Morgan St., west along Morgan to Glenwood Ave., north along Glenwood to St. Mary's St. which becomes Lassiter Mill Rd., along Lassiter Mill to Six Forks Rd, north along Six Forks to Millbrook Rd., the point of beginning. Offered properties must be able to provide for 150 parking spaces within a two (2) block radius of the building. Paid parking lots would be acceptable to meet this requirement. The offered space must be fully serviced and altered to meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility Standards. Offered space that is contiguous and located on a single, above ground level floor, is preferred. Proposals from brokers or agents should be accompanied by evidence of their authorization to represent the ownership. Expressions of interest should include building names and address, or if new construction, the site location.
