Description

This is a notice for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 332912, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The U.S. Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, requires repair and return to service capability for 13 hoist control valves, part number A23772. Place of delivery is Lexington, KY, FOB origin. Expected delivery date is 1 May 2006. The Contractor shall be an authorized MOOG repairer for the hoist control valve. The Government intends to award a contract to MOOG, Inc., Seneca Street at Jamison Road, East Aurora, NY 14052-1800, on a sole source basis. Anticipated award date is 27 April 2006. MOOG, Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer of the hoist control valve. There are no other known sources that would be capable of performing the requested services specified in this notice. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which may be considered. Responses to this notice are due by 26 April 2006 (4:30PMest) to: bforbes@tapo.eustis.army.mil.
