- The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is soliciting proposals from qualified Small Businesses under the Small Business Administration?s 8(a) Program (NAICS 541611 / 6 Million Dollars) having the capability to provide all of the necessary logistical support for approximately 27 scientific meetings during a one-year base contract; approximately 27 scientific meetings during each of the four one-year option periods; and, an additional conference option which may be exercised twice per year. Approximately one-third of the scientific meetings will require graphic, editorial, and other services necessary for the development of a publication. Similar services will be required on a variety of other publications also will be required. It is anticipated that one cost-plus-award-fee, completion-type contract will be awarded for a period of one year with four one-year option periods. RFP No. N01DA-6-1129 will be available electronically on or about May 3, 2006. You can access the RFP through the FedBizOpps http://www.fedbizopps.gov or though the NIDA website at the following address: http://www.nida.nih.gov/rfp/rfplist.html. The electronic RFP contains all information needed to submit a proposal. No printed version of the solicitation document or source list is available. NIDA will consider proposals submitted by any responsible 8(a) offeror. Response to the RFP will be due on or about June 16, 2006. This advertisement does not commit the Government to award a contract. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for current SBA certified 8(a) Small, Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Offers from concerns other than eligible 8(a) SDBs will not be considered. See Note 26.
