Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format is Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The reference number is 06TC 310. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15 and DFARS change notice 20030722. The NAICS code is 532111. The size standard is 21,500,000 employees. The contractor shall provide the following items: Request to Lease vehicles for the 65 ea HQ AETC IG Team for the 37 TRW ORI and 59 MDW CI from 28 Apr 06 ? 15 May 06. (SEE SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION BELOW) Revised Statement of Requirement: Rental vehicles required for HQ AETC IG Team for 37 TRW ORI and 59 MDW CI: 80 mid-size sedans delivered to Lackland AFB, TX (at a designated location) NLT 10:00 AM on 28 April 2006. Vehicles will be delivered and returned with a full gas tank. Vehicles must have a valid registration and state inspection sticker that will not expire during the duration of the contract and will be free of damage, i.e., cracked windshields, low tire pressure, alignment problems, check engine lights, odors (smoke), and body damage, etc. Contractor is responsible for furnishing motor oil, anti-freeze, washer fluid, etc. and will perform all maintenance on vehicles and be responsible for emergency repairs and services. Any vehicle returned without a full gas tank will be charged at the end of the contract. Unlimited mileage within the State of Texas. Insurance is not required since Government is Self-Insured. Replacement vehicle to be provided within one (1) hour should a mechanical problem occur with any of the vehicles. Early return penalty will not be applied. Vehicle returns will begin on 7 May 2006 with staggered returns until 15 May 2006. Contract period 28 Apr ? 15 May 06. Offerors shall include with their quotes, a completed copy of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items. Far 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercials Items, 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer--Central Contractor Registration, and DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, are applicable to this acquisition.
