Description
The United States Army Communications Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract for Fuel Pumps NSN 2910-01-476-8668; for the 30 and 60 kilowatt (kW) B model, MEP-805B, MEP-815B, MEP-806B, AND MEP-816B Tactical Quiet Generators (TQG). The proposed ID/IQ action will be for a maximum quantity of 360 units of the Fuel Pumps over the five years. This is an invitation for bid (IFB) through a Reverse Auction (RA) and the solicitation number assigned is W15P7T-06-B-F820. The solicitation will include all instructions on how the Reverse Auction will be evaluated. Furthermore, the solicitation will give instructions as how each contracto r can receive an ID and Password for the reverse auction. Early delivery at no additional cost to the government and is encouraged. Shipments are to be FOB Destination with Inspection/Acceptance FOB Source. The items will be shipped to New Cumberland Fac ility, New Cumberland, PA. Items on the contract will be ordered by individual delivery orders. Each delivery order will set forth all requirements, delivery schedule, shipping instructions, and the applicable price. Competition will be restricted to auth orized manufactures/distributors of Stanadyne Inc distributors and; or, John Deere distributors. Perspective offerors are requested to validate bids for at least 90 days after the completion of the Reverse Auction. The U.S. Army C-E LCMC has established the IBOP website as part of the ASFI at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil/, to allow electronic transmittal of solicitations and proposals. All parties interested in doing business with C-E LCMC are invited to access an d operate the ASFI in order to send and receive information. You may access potential C-E LCMC Business Opportunities by selecting C-E LCMC -FISCAL YEAR from the drop down menu under the heading ARMY PRE-AWARD and click GO. Registration for a User ID and Password is available under USER SERVICES, USER REGISTRATION, in the center of the screen. Offerors wishing to participate in the Reverse Auction shall follow the instructions stated in the Solicitation, which describes the date, time and how the Reverse Auction will occur. The solicitation will be posted on or about 01 May 2006 on the IBOP. Please refer to the solicitation for additional details.
