Description

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District (CENWK) is engaged in a research project focused on enhancing the efficiency of the contract ordering process. The intent is to facilitate ordering from previously awarded Indefinite Delivery / In definite Quantity contracts, and to create a process that establishes a Rapid Ordering System (ROS). This research project is based on new concepts in data systems and integration. This performance work statement is for access to electronic catalogs. The government intends to integrate the vendors catalog into an all inclusive government electronic ordering system. The government system is initially for use by the CENWK but may be expanded to other contracting officers in the Federal Government if so de cided by the contracting officer. A large variety of IDIQ contracts will be awarded to various companies with and emphasis on those companies that maintain electronic catalogs on the World Wide Web.This Solicitation is open and continuous to all vendors de siring a multiple award contract with the CENWK, Kansas City District Corps of Engineers in this project.
