Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts and award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for the rehabilitation of a metal building with a pole shed, one integral structure, located at Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge, Brooksville, Mississippi. Work includes surface preparation and painting of interior and exterior surfaces, replacement of double-wide swing metal doorway, and installation of fully operational propane space heaters, exhaust fans, supply piping and electrical service, accessories, controls, equipment and materials. This is not a Total Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 236220. The size standard is $31 Million. Request for Quotes will be issued on or about 04/20/2006 with a closing date of 05/18/2006. The Service is using Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue Request for Quotes and Purchase Orders. You may view the solicitation at www.fbo.gov.
