Description
THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE RELEASED VIA THE INTERNET. This will be the only method for distributing solicitation documents and amendments. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING AND DOWNLOADING AT THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil The official planholders list will be maintained and can be printed on the website only. Amendments will be posted to the website for viewing and downloading. IT IS THE OFFEROR?S RESPONSIBILITY TO PERIODICALLY CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR AMENDMENTS. ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS AND PLAN ROOMS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER ON THE WEBSITE. All contractual and technical questions shall be submitted to Carrie Grimard via facsimile at 812-854-3800 or e-mail at carrie.grimard@navy.mil Solicitation documents will only be available electronically at the following website: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Provide necessary labor, transportation, materials, supplies, equipment, and supervision to install seven new 3?0? x 7?0? doors steel, insulated 1?? thick full panel 18ga., in the concrete walls of Building 2075, and install three new door concrete platforms and steps from the doors to the parking lot. This is a lump sum contract, awarded on a fixed-price basis. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following technical factors will be used to evaluate the offers: past performance, performance narrative, and project schedule. These technical factors when combined are equal in value to the price. Offerors are required to submit both price and technical information. NAICS Code is 236220 ? Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a size standard of $31.0 million. This solicitation will be issued as a 100 percent set-aside for HubZone businesses. To be eligible to submit a proposal, the Small Business Administration, prior to the release date of this solicitation, must approve a business as a HubZone business. Estimated cost range between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Solicitation documents will only be available electronically at the following website: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Release date is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, April 19, 2006 with proposals due on Tuesday, May 2, 2006.
