Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm fixed price supply type contract to be negotiated on an unrestricted basis for an industrial wet horizontal magnetic particle inspection machine. Complete specifications for the requirement will be included in the solicitation.The offer for the Magnetic Particle Inspection Machine shall include on-site training, operation test, technical data, FOB Destination pricing, and a standard commercial warranty in support of Naval SUBBASE Bangor, Silverdale, WA 98315. Delivery date shall be within 90 days after date of contract. The commercial solicitation, N00406-06-T-0653, will be issued on or about 21 April 2006 with a closing date of 9 May 2006. Proposed contract to be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
