Interested potential sources are requested to only provide questios, comments, and/or recommendations pertinent to the documents attached to this posting. Handheld and other human-portable radiation detection devices (Human Portable Radiation Detection Systems (HPRDS)) are used by various Government entities to detect and identify nuclear materials in cargo, luggage, mail, and packages. These HPRDS are a critical inspection tool at numerous venues. DHS will not reimburse any preparation costs associated with responses to this RFI. Interested potential sources are encouraged to review the draft documents and provide comments and recommendations for addition, change, or deletion, especially in regards to cost-effective pricing arrangements. It is the Respondent’s responsibility to periodically revisit this website for notices, amendments, updates, questions and answers and changes to the posted information.
