Description

We are interested in 8A, Hub-zone, or service-connected disable veteran able to perform the following work: Work may include but is not necessarily limited to: 1) portland cement concrete and hot mix asphaltic concrete pavement section replacement, 2) installation of asphalt overlays, 3) installation of pavement markings, 4) rubber removal, 5) spall repairs, and 6) milling/grinding of pavement surfaces. Offeror must prove to have the resources and the experience to successfully demolish and replace up to seven, 25 ft x 25 ft, 23-inch thick reinforced concrete runway slabs in a 48 hour period. After, the 48-hour working period, heavy aircraft can land safely. Offeror require to demonstrate the ability to take possession of the runway on a Friday at 6pm, finish on Monday at 6am and airfield management can land a plane at 6:01am on that Monday. You must provide evidence of this type of work schedule with work being performed in last three years. We need to know the dollar magnitude and the number of slabs replaced.
