Item 0001 NSN: 2840-00-951-0769RV, P/N: 530070. Item Description: Circular in design with a bearing journal (shaft) on the aft end. The function of the hub is to provide a mounting point for TT aft end of the N1 compressor. Dimensions are as follows: 16.742? diameter on the forward end X 5.1184? diameter on T6 Aft end X 12.834? overall length. Predominant Material of Manufacture: Nickel Alloy. Applicable to: TF33 Engine Delivery: 25 EA May 2008 Quantity: 25 EA New Material Solicited. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 5 MAY 2006. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 5 JUNE 2006. The anticipated award date will be 7 JULY 2006. No telephone requests. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
