Description: This will be a firm-fixed price contract. Contractor shall provide dedicated aircraft(s), personnel, equipment, supplies, materials, fuel, tools, and transportation to perform Air Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) services and training for the U.S. Army Garrison, Hawaii (Department of Defense support only) on the Island of Oahu and at Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) on the Island of Hawaii. Requirement is for rotary-wing aircraft only. Period of performance is projected to be 1 July 2006 through 30 June 2 007 with one (1) 12-month option period. The issue date for this solicitation is estimated to be on or about 25 April 2006. Response date above is estimated. Actual proposal due date will be specified in the solicitation and may be earlier or later than 9 May 2006. This procurement is unrestricted. The government intends to award a contract to a Commercial Airlift Review Board (CARB) approved contractor that can provide rotary-wing capability. Telephone requests will not be honored.
