Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Electronic Proving Ground, Fort Huachuca, Arizona is soliciting proposals for the following requirement (Same As or Better): 1 each, storage shed to include the following specificatio ns: 24ft. wide x 38ft. Long x 8ft. side walled height; 9 ft. wide lockable, T-handle manual operated garage door; 36in. Wide lockable, walk-in doorway; two 2ft x 4ft Plexiglas skylights centered in each gabled roof top surface; two turbine style vents; ga bled pitched roof with roof peak running along center length of 38ft span; 4 to 6 in. High raised wooden skid floor covered with heavy-duty 3/4 in plywood sheets; asphalt shingle roof; two coats outdoor paint; include shelves with the following specificati ons: 1 each, Heavy Duty Bulk and Extra Heavy Duty Pallet Racks, 120in x 36in shelf system, McMaster-Carr to include 1 each three level basic unit, 4670T22, 1500 lbs beam capacity per pair; 2 each, Add-on Units, 4670T74; and 9 each Wire Decking, 2500 Cap. Lbs. ; 1 each, Medium Duty Cantilever Rack, McMaster-Carr, 78in x 21in x 84in shelf system to include: 1 each, Basic Unit; Single Sided Rack, 14 Arms, 4900T91; 1 each, Add On Unit, 7 Arms, 4900T45, 500 capacity lbs per arm, 3500 capacity lbs per column; both she lve systems with the listed weight handling capacities as a minimum. FOB Destination (Fort Huachuca, Arizona 85613). Payment will be made by Government Credit Card under Net 30 Terms. Offers are due no later than 1200 hours, Tuesday, 25 April 2006 and s hall be submitted electronically at virginia.miller@epg.army.mil. EVALUATION CRITERIA / PROCEDURES: Offers will be evaluated based on the following best value criteria in descending order of importance: Meeting the Requirement, Proposed Delivery Schedul e, Past Performance and Price.
