Description

ACCESS DOOR, Bulkhead, Right Side, NSN: 5340-01-172-2966; PN: 12316951; Peripheral Shape Style: 7-Rectangular; Materials: Aluminum Alloy 5083 and Rubber. THIS MODIFICATION TO THE ORIGINAL PRESOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT ADDS THIS SECOND ACCESS DOOR REQ UIREMENT TO THE SYNOPSIS. The solicitation and anticipated contract will be for production quantities of both doors, right and left sides. SPECIFIC INFORMATION for the RIGHT SIDE ACCESS DOOR follows: The current estimated requirement is for 50 units, wi th an estimate for up to an additional 50 units to follow within 1 to 2 years. The overall Dimensions in inches are, length is 11.171 x width is 11.1. The Item has hinges and other hardware and rubber components/parts. Multiple Holes: There are 3 holes along the length, with a distances of 2.625 inches nominal between each hole. The distance from first hole centerline to the end along width is 1.797 inches nominal. Corner bevel length is 0.250 inches nominal. Securing Device Type is: Threaded Fastener . Material Document and Classification: MIL-A-46077 Mil Spec 1st Material Response and ZZ-R-765, CL 38, GR 30, Color Grey, Fed Spec 2nd Material Response. Special markings and military packaging are also required. This Item is used on the 7.62mm cupola of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. The anticipated contract to result will be for a fixed quantity, at a fixed unit price, and one option quantity. Delivery terms will be FOB-Destination. All other solicitation terms are in accordance with (IAW) the origi nal Presolicitation Announcement of 14 April 2006. The estimated solicitation issue date remains 01 May 2006. The solicitation will be issued electronically IAW FAR 4.502 and 5.102. Hardcopies will not be provided.
