- CONTACT Gen K. Yuen; 732-427-5988. MX-9872-1 Mechanical Scanner. This is a market survey to locate potential sources of supply for the MX-9872-1 Mechanical Scanner Assembly, NSN 5855-01-052-4956, a Common Module, that the Government is planning to b uy on a long term, Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery contract IAW Drawing SM-D-807690-1 and Military Specification MIL-PRF-49166C(CR). The first delivery order is expected to cover 120 each of this item. First Article Testing requirements that will b e included in the contract may be waived if the Government regards the prospective producer as highly qualified. Production requirements will likely begin with 20 units 180 DAC and 120 DAC, with and without First Article Testing requirements, respectively. This Mechanical Scanner is a component of the AN/AAQ-11 Pilot Night Vision Sensor, which is a First Generation Forward Looking Infrared system that provides thermal imaging capabilities for combat personnel. Specific, detailed information from the producer indicating its (1) experience with this particular device, (2) experience with similar devices, and (2) identification of on-hand specialized equipment and facilities to produce and deliver these items IAW stated requirements. Identification of the contractor as a Large or a Small Business. If a Small Business, please identify as an 8(a), HUBZone, Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, or non-disadvantaged. Past Performance for this or similar items. The contractor shall submit their part numbers, NSNs, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have production experience. Government contract numbers, if applicable, shall be provided. The contractor shall cite the quality standa rd (either Government or Industry) that is presently in place for this effort. The contractor must provide information to show that it possesses adequate production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, and space) to enable it to produce and deliver this i tem in accordance with the Governments requirements.
