Description

FORGING, HOLLOW PREFORM PER DRAWING #BL-44666 REV NEW; FOR: 155MM/M776 or 120MM/M256 cannon, quantity - four (4) each. Approximate dimensions: 381 millimeter O.D. X 121.9 millimeter I.D. Palmer Contracting Officer (518)266-5618/(518)266-4682 FAX. Numbered notes: #8 and #26 apply. Estimated issue date of solicitation: 04 MAY 2006. Location of posted solicitation: This solicitation will be issued electronically, therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Upon release of the solicitation, it will be available on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil and will be listed under Watervliet Arsenal. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receip t of offers may render your offer nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Technical Data Packages: This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be posted to the ASFI website. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare an offer are instructed to request same by submission of an e-mail to: haschy tz@wva.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information: CAGE Code (if available) and DUNS number (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact, Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone number and Fax number along with a copy of the DD2345 Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement. A TDP will be provided after the solicitation has been released to the Army Single Face to Industry website.
