Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract with L-3 Communications Corp, Integrated Systems Joint Operations Group located at 5749 Briar Hill Road, Lexington, KY 40516. The requirement is to modify Government furnished C/KC-130 aircraft with the AN/ARC-210 (V) Multimode Radio System, Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) and Drone Launch system. This effort includes, receipt/handling/delivery of the aircraft, kit installation, test, program management and data requirements. The configuration for the AN/ARC-210 modification is defined by Airframe Change (AFC) No. 338 Part 2, Part 4, Part 4 Amendments 1, 2, and 3. The contractor shall install the TCAS in accordance with AFC No. 374 and applicable amendments. The Drone Launch capability will be in accordace with a pending air frame change. Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available. Request for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336413 and the small business size standard is 1000 employees. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties in support of the effort mentioned above.
