Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice of intent to conduct a commercial item acquisition. The Solicitation, Evaluation, and Award procedures of FAR Part 13.106-1, 13.106-2 and 13.106-3 are being used. The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to purchase the following items: Switchboard, Power Distribution and Ship Service Generator Control. In accordance with specifications and drawings. Item being purchased hereunder shall be provided with Commercial Data for Provisioning, Commercial Warranties, Operating Manuals and Test Agenda. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), as a result of this competition. The details of the salients will be included in RFQ HSCG40-06-Q-40232. A complete description of the contract line items and times of delivery will be included in the RFQ. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination. All responsible sources are invited to submit a quotation/proposal, which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. All technical data required to respond to the solicitation will be furnished as part of the RFQ. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. Solicitation was released 3/9/06. Amendment 0001 is released 3/17/06. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the EPS System for changes or amendments. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (09-MAR-2006).
