Description

THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR REVIEWING AND PRINTING IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS. The project consists of renovating the existing parking lot and boat ramp known as Torrey?s Hole. The major portion of work includes removing an existing vault toilet, log fence, asphalt pavement, concrete curb and gutter, and portions of the existing concrete boat ramp. The new construction includes the installation of a vault toilet, wood pole fence and steel entry gate, signs, concrete sidewalk and stairs, and concrete curb and gutter. The existing boat ramp shall be expanded in width and length and shall have attached to it a concrete unloading/tie-up ramp section. Lastly, the parking lot shall be chip sealed and striped. The project is located in Section 29 of Rng. 16 E., Twn. 11 N. on the Sawtooth National Forest in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. The project site can be reached by traveling from Challis, Idaho or Stanley, Idaho on State Highway 75. The project site is located on the Salmon River, approximately 20 miles east of Stanley, Idaho, or approximately 38 miles west of Challis, Idaho. The NAICS code: 237990. Size Standard: $28.5 Million. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Estimated start date is July 1, 2006 with completion by June 1, 2007. This proposed procurement is under the Small Business Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside.
